As in other passages in Revelation, there are many theories about who or what the four living creatures represent. Knowing this, we must be careful not to say that all interpretations are correct, or that everyone simply has their own point of view, or even that certain biblical texts are impossible to interpret. No—this is not true. If the Bible, as the Word of God, was given to us as a rule of faith and practice then we must also believe that its message can be understood.
